Annually, we support an area charity that is meaningful to the location of our conference. Our membership provides donations suggested by the chraity of choice, resulting in great success for the featured organization.

This year, our featured charity is Girls, Inc. and will help 30 young ladies at College Shower. MWPHE members are urged to donate:
  • Black and/or blue pens
  • A pack of highlighters
  • Mechanical pencils
  • Two-pocket folders
  • One inch binders
  • Three-subject notebooks

The Massachusetts Conference for Women

Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education are proud to be recognized as a supporting sponsor for The Massachusetts Conference for Women.

The 10th Annual Massachusetts Conference for Women will be Thurs., Dec. 4, 2014, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The Conference will feature nationally recognized speakers like Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton; Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o; Lisa Belkin, senior national correspondent, Yahoo News; and Jenny Bowen, founder and CEO of Half the Sky Foundation.

The Conference features motivational keynote speeches, engaging workshops and panel discussions that cover a vast range of topics specifically designed for women, including healthcare, leadership, managing change, finding work life balance and personal finance.
