Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education, Inc. (MWPHE) is a non-profit organization open to women administrators, as well as to those women who aspire to administrative positions in public higher education in Massachusetts.
The organization establishes an information and support network, enhances professional development, encourages and promotes upward mobility, and addresses issues affecting Massachusetts public higher education and the status of women within the system. |
| MWPHE has a conference in various parts of the state and invites all Professional Women in higher ed to attend. Recent speakers include: Dr. Jean Anliker, Extension Associate Professor, Dept. of Nutrition at UMASS-Amherst (Healthy Living in a Stressful World); Cynthia Secor, Founding Director, Higher Education Resource Services (Empowering Through Mentoring); Lynn Donohue, Author of Brick by Brick: A Woman's Journey.
